WELCOME
PBA UPdate
Due to prior commitments, Barry Simpson asked to give the PBA UPDATE first. He offered a response to the PABE inquiries on the CCBL expenditures. Ways of reducing costs of the CCBL were looked at several years ago when the budget deficit reach $32,000. At that time, a suggestion by a PABE member was made to solicit sponsorships. The PBA is appreciative of the sponsorship but is happy to work in a different way to close the deficit. Discussion followed on ways to make CCBL more cost effective. Nancy Paul volunteered to assist the CCBL board in any way as did Liz Price.
Fran O’Rouke- reported the PABE website now has its own front page, some links and a list of content. Fran requested help from the PABE members to update some of the information contained on the website. The website is located at www.pabe.info .
